"She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come" Proverbs 31:25
Because life is meant to be faced with joy, confidence, and an unshakable spirit—no matter what comes your way
Our Mission
To create a space where young people—women and men—can:
Face life with joy, optimism, and confidence
Take small, intentional steps toward their goals
Navigate challenges while embracing their true identity and purpose
We believe that empowerment doesn’t happen in isolation. Strong communities create strong individuals, and uplifting one person has the power to uplift an entire society.
Morren’s Story: The Spark That Lit Our Fire
In the humble beginnings of Ladies in the Baking, there was no big budget, no office, and no formal structure, just a few young women on campus who deeply believed in standing by one another.
Morren was the first young lady we ever reached out to. She was our classmate, bright and quiet, facing the unexpected journey of early motherhood while still in school. The challenges she faced, emotionally, financially, and socially, were immense, and we could feel her silent struggle.
We were students too, with barely enough for ourselves, but we came together with what we had. A box of fruits. Diapers. Encouragement. Love. We visited her, prayed with her, laughed with her, and let her know that she was not alone.
Morren became more than someone we helped, she became the reason we knew Ladies in the Baking had to exist. Today, she has completed her studies and is thriving. Her resilience and courage inspire us still.
To every young person who thinks the story ends with hardship, remember Morren. Her story is living proof that your journey matters, and there’s are people ready to walk with you.
That’s Joy, holding Morren’s baby, holding a new beginning in our hands.
From this visit, a sisterhood was born. Today, Morren has completed her studies and continues to inspire us. She is a living reminder that there’s strength in vulnerability, and beauty in support.
Have You Ever Felt Like Life Took Away Your Chance to Rise?
Imagine a cake—warm, golden, rising beautifully in the oven. Now, imagine it being taken out too soon before it had the chance to become what it was meant to be.
Have you ever felt that way? Like life interrupted your journey before you could fully rise?
